Usually, I am swamped with photos and Fun Fun Fun Fest in Austin was no exception. Going through hundreds of snaps to find select after select, I (as you do) narrowed down the grips to handfuls until I had something presentable and that is what is posted here. Considering how many faces of musicians I looked at, when one grabbed my attention, naturally, you pay close attention as to why. One was a certain picture of Grimes‘ Claire Boucher.  Outside of being a big fan of her bubbly electronic productions, I decided that the shirt she was wearing helped:

Bold, simple and clear, it’s certainly memorable. Well, turns out the work of UK-based unisex label, LONG Clothing does that sort of thing best. Stumbling across their site after the usual web trolling, I was excited to see that LONG, formed in 2008 by Gareth Emmett and Rhys Dawney, was the same imprint responsible for recent collaborations with great record LA label Disaro (Present Moment, Mater Suspiria Vision, GuMMy†Be▲R!) and with the iconic punk/new romantic Boy London.

Solid stuff all around; read an interview with their founders at Vice’s Polish site. I also quite enjoy what’s on their “PICS” page.

Now, where can I get my hands on some here in Smog City?
