Toronto trio Doomsquad have a been a favorite of ours since their lovely three-song EP came out of nowhere late last year- their set-closing seven-minute cover of Doors’ “Riders of the Storm” is a gem- and now, with a brief lull, the band are set to release their debut longplayer, Kalaboogie for Hand Drawn Dracula (Beliefs, Dream Affair).Today the band dropped a new-agey and tripped-out video for “Waka Waka,” which at the end gives instructions to a viewer to call a hotline in order to download the new track. If you’re curious, it’s 1-844-666-HELL

The album plays a diverse hand as a lively and hypnotic re-coding of dropped-out acid house with chanting, droning psych-rock and post-punk guitar jerk all entranced across eight new songs.

Stream both of the band’s zoned-out Kalaboogie-teased tracks below.
