Continuing the run up to the mammoth HURTSVILLE longplayer, Holloweyed Records presents “Short Memory,” the next single from Jack Ladder and the Dreamlanders. The folks at BPM were kind enough to premiere the new video last week. Read their thoughts right here. Following “Cold Feet,” the new track finds the Australian musician in a much darker context and comes packaged with a bold new video directed by Michael Spiccia. A downright massive offering, HURTSVILLE cannot be ignored. Recorded in the desolate Australian countryside, the collection is delicate, limitless and impacting in its delivery- by far one of the best things we’ve heard in ages.

The longplaying record is coming soon via digitial and vinyl formats. We’ve received a test press- it sounds lovely. Recently, Jack was shortlisted for the 2012 Australian Music Prize and played support for a set of shows with The Horrors. He’s currently on a solo Australian tour. His former release, “Cold Feet,” the song Mess and Noise recently named Song of the Year, is still available as a free download.
